tell me if its ok that she only eats once in a while? thks for your help jds or maryann

make sure she gets food with calcium, she needs it now.  that can be a cuttlebone, eggs mashed up with shells, dark greens.  i would not separate the daddy from the mommy since she will need his help.  about the food - make sure you clean the dish everyday and give NEW food daily.  do not leave the old food there for them to eat, as what you see can be EMPTY HUSKS and they will starve to death. they eat what is necessary, so don't worry.

This baby seems to be doing fine, she eats very little.  I have been able to find her an older male (something more than a year).  She hasn't been herself.
